Vintage Art Nouveau Design Letter Opener Solid Brass and Copper, plated

Description

A nice Art Nouveau Letter Opener, originally silver plated over copper handle with solid brass blade. Now the handle is well worn, but that gives it a GREAT look! 9 inches long. This goes to prove that, sometimes, condition that is not perfect can be quite nice. Like this! The copper shows through in some areas, but it lends a "look at me....I am a REAL ANTIQUE" feel to it.....not at all objectionable. The blade is wavy, but since it's solid brass, you could straighten it. Used, so I'll say As-Found condition.
