Unusual Antique French Bronze Sculptural Letter Opener *Signed* - WW1 Soldier

Description

An unusual and impressive early 20th century French gilded bronze sculptural letter opener.  Very large and heavy, and signed (illegibly) by the artist on the handle.  Possibly "E. Delaude".
Features a crawling WW1 soldier on the handle.  In overall very good condiiton, with some light wear/discoloration to the gilding, as shown in photos.
Measures: just over 9" long.
