One of the most interesting dolls I have ever encountered ... as soon as I picked her up I knew that she was special. A silken cape, gloriously attended fit to her attire, and marvelously detailed lacework all come together to make this incredible hand painted doll an absolutely magnificent find. The tag states that this doll was from the Just Folks Dollhouse, operated during the 1940's by Helen Walter of Staunton, Virginia. This particular dollhouse was actually a museum where dolls from history would be put on display, repaired, restored, and rejuvenated. This particular doll was from the Cavaliers display, which was mentioned in one of the newspaper articles I have uploaded with this listing. I had to think long and hard about listing this doll because it is simply so amazing.

We DO combine shipping, but you need to talk to us about it first because some items are big and some are little but they all have certain shipping requirements. We generally ship items weighing less than 5 pounds via PRIORITY MAIL and items greater than 5 pounds via UPS GROUND, but this is not a hard and fast rule. We do NOT use FEDEX to ship. Items shipping to Alaska and Hawaii may require a surcharge. We do not ship internationally, period.
