Exotic Wooden Ikebana Kenzan

Description

This ikebana vase was handmade from exotic hardwoods possibly Bubinga and Walnut although I am not entirely sure. It has bold grain figured across the rich honey colored saucer like base and adjoining “tail”.   The surface reflects the surrounding light in a subtle and stunning way. The surface is finished with a high quality sealer and was sanded to a smooth glass like finish. This one of a kind art piece was handcrafted with care and each detail is refined. It appears to be hovering in defiance of gravity!  A high quality kenzan or frog is glued into the waterproof saucer, so all you need to do is add water and your favorite flower from the garden. This vase would suit both the professional ikebana artist and hobbyist. This is a high end artefact that will look stunning in every home. Let it grace your table in style.
